I’ve seen this floating around and only now got a chance to watch it. I expected to find it interesting but was surprised at how touching I found it.
Ditto, Petra. I got really choked up while watching it, and I wasn’t expecting such a visceral response.

5, 6 & 7 – again, ditto. I didn’t expect to get teary.
I also had some kind of reaction at seeing the women dancing but wearing vintage period clothing totally unsuited for the dancing. It was deliberate, I’m sure, especially the hats with the lace veiling their faces.
Loved it and was a great way to discuss Alice Paul and Suffrage with my kids.
I was not disappointed. That was amazing – especially the note from the young man’s mother – what a triumphant moment.
