That’s okay, Eve. It’s not even my thread. And besides, I like threadjacks (though I prefer to call them “tangents,” so they seem like they’re at least related in some way, whether or not they are).

Lynnette, I’ll see if I can come up with any cool deep dark secrets (though that could backfire quite a bit…).

Lynnette, just in case you’re getting any ideas, I’ve sublimated all of my own deep dark childhood secrets into a very respectable neurosis that causes me to attend grad school compulsively. If you trot any out, the destuction of my stunning academic career will be on your conscience. I just hope you can live with that.
