Welcome, Vada

We’re quite happy to announce that we’ve added Vada to our list of ZD bloggers as an occasional contributor (presumably when she has any energy left from keeping up with her two young sons!) Vada is a SAHM and an aspiring writer, and is also the sister of our very own Seraphine. Welcome aboard; it’s great to have you here.

  1. Hooray, Vada! Thanks for joining. You add a vital perspective to our blog. I too am looking forward to reading what you have to say.

  2. Vada! Welcome to one of the grooviest blogs in the ‘naccle. I look forward to your posts!

  3. Hey, everyone, Idahospud said we’re “groovy.” We’re cool! We’re cool! I’ve never been cool before! What do I do? How do I act?

[Puts hands in pockets and tries to look “cool.”]

Lynnette, just in case you’re getting any ideas, I’ve sublimated all of my own deep dark childhood secrets into a very respectable neurosis that causes me to attend grad school compulsively. If you trot any out, the destuction of my stunning academic career will be on your conscience. I just hope you can live with that. 😀

Uh, Vada…sorry. Just call me Queen of the Threadjack, and please feel free to start any random discussion you like in the middle of my posts.

  4. That’s okay, Eve. It’s not even my thread. And besides, I like threadjacks (though I prefer to call them “tangents,” so they seem like they’re at least related in some way, whether or not they are).

Lynnette, I’ll see if I can come up with any cool deep dark secrets (though that could backfire quite a bit…).

And thanks for all the welcomes! I’m looking forward to blogging here.
